L’Oréal Sells Sanoflore Essential Oil Brand

"Green" beauty brand acquired by Ekkio Capital and CEO Sergio Calandri.

L’Oréal has sold green beauty brand Sanoflore to French investment fund Ekkio Capital and Sergio Calandri, Sanoflore’s new chief executive officer, who is also the founder of Inula Group, which has other natural product brands. A purchase price was not disclosed. L'Oréal acquired Sanflore in 2006, when the brand's sales were about $20 million.
